I think he could still make time to direct a Man of Steel sequel. DC already has quite a few movies lined up over the next few years, and with Affleck possibly getting his own trilogy apparently. I think a Man of Steel sequel may not happen for a few more years. Possibly after the two Justice League movies?

Well he certainly is capable after seeing Mad Max Fury Road.
Zack is focusing on the JL movies so I could see someone stepping in for Zack in the MOS sequel.

A press release from Warner Bros last year stated they wanted to make solo Batman and Superman movies within the timeframe of the slate of DC movies given.
