see this is wrong because she's setting hispanic people back 100 years by doing this highly disrespectful thing to have a career. by having this outlandish and exaggerated hispanic accent she's insulting hispanic people and furthering the stereotype of the dumb, broken english and too big of an accent hispanic people speaking english.

I know you're right because why else would I be extremely annoyed by her over the top, exaggerated Hispanic accent when speaking English nowadays? I mean, unbearably annoyed by it. but I was never annoyed at all when listening to her speak Spanish on Fuera De Serie about 20 years ago? it's because she exaggerates her Hispanic accent to the point of being a joke and a caricature of a Hispanic woman speaking English. I guess it's worked for her in Hollywood. but I can't stand to hear her speak English with that ridiculously exaggerated Hispanic accent. what's interesting is how, someone on here pointed out that when she was on a Hispanic speaking show years ago when she spoke English then she didn't use an exaggerated Hispanic accent. so, somewhere down the line she thought of doing this when speaking English. the problem is she's setting back Hispanic people 200 years by doing this. and it's extremely disrespectful to her Hispanic heritage to do this. she's reinforcing ages old Hispanic stereotypes by doing this. shame on her.

what is all fake about her except for her breasts? how can you be so sure they are real, her breasts? I mean have you seen them? have you seen them? they are so ridiculously big and wide and full. I mean they are huge.

If that's true, she's copying Rosie Perez; another annoying actress with a very fake hispanic accent. She too, YEARS ago when first starting out never had a hispanic accent. It wasn't until she was "trying to make it big" that suddenly she had/has an accent, and it was and is irritating as hell!

another actress i can't stand with a hispanic accent is salma hayek. oh my gosh, she has the most annoying voice ever because her hispanic accent is so strong. we all need to move to a country that has no hisapnic people anywhere. what a relief it would be to live there.

It says that she went to a bilingual school, so has been speaking English since childhood. I believe that it's phony. And so annoying.
I guess it's like looking at clouds. You see one thing and I see another. Peace. -

She's lived in the U.S. way too long to have as thick of an accent as she does. I was watching her on Kimmel, and she geniunely sounded like it was her first day in America. Her accent is fake as f
ck.

I don't recall which one, but on a talk show she said her son accused her of having a thicker accent now then when she first came to America. She was laughing and joking as she was relaying the story but it seemed like she was admitting it. Yes I do believe she uses it when she wants. My husband doesn't have any discernible accent until he gets on the phone with his brother. I'd swear he just got here from Arkansas although he didn't live there they both lived with their Grandparents who were from there. Although he doesn't realize he's doing it I think Sofia does, it's easy to do.
