Technically her husband is gay, but is he?

"This is going to be a bit sexually graphic and I apologize ahead of time for anyone who is offended but his penis is penetrating a vagina, not an anus and a penis is not penetrating his anus.
Therefore, he isn't gay."
If this is true, then oral sex is not sex either, and whether or not it is a guy or girl doing the deed, it doesn't matter because it all feels the same if you close your eyes.
I think I saw an interview with Candis Cayne and it said they met in like 1997 I think, and she didn't get her operation til like 2001, so I'm fairly confident they were having intercourse before the operation, which means he was penetrating something that did not resemble a vagina.
"How many men are attracted to a MUSCULAR or HAIRY woman? How many men are attracted to a woman with a deep voice? Does this make them gay?
b68Of course not!"
This is very contradictory to what you're saying. You said that Candis' boyfriend is straight because she LOOKS like a woman. This goes against said statement because then these men WOULD be gay.
A good point is brought up though. If a man is attracted to women with masculine features such as a deep voice, hairy, big muscles (A female body builder is a good example minus the hair, and some of them look like guys and don't have breasts, but pecks) then I do believe that his sexuality can be questionable. It's just like seeing a transgender like Candis, it might make him straight because they look like a woman, but I don't know, I don't think anybody could actually know, it's just a matter of one's opinion. -

According to Bill Clinton and several people, it isn't. LOL
But seriously, we all know that oral sex is sex. However, he did not have sex with her first and then met her.
He met her first and probably had sex with her later. Most transsexuals don't have sex with a man right away. They want to make sure they can trust him enough to let them know the transition they are going through.
It is like a woman who has had a mastectomy or a man who has had a testicle removed. You don't just put something like that on a person's lap right away. You get to know the person and when you feel comfortable or start getting more intimate with the person, you let them know that you have had something removed or are in the process of having something removed. Up until that point, they do not know any real intimate details about that other person's body and can only see what the other person allows you to see.
What was the first thing he saw? It wasn't her penis. It was her. She is pretty. He was attracted to what he perceived to be a woman. She looks like a woman and acts like one. This is what he sees-A WOMAN. In his mind, he doesn't see a man who looks like a woman. He doesn't see a woman who looks like a man, either. He sees a woman that looks like a woman. While it is true that the mind can play tricks on you, this is what he sees.
I'm sorry for causing the missunderstanding regarding what I meant by my statement about men who are attracted to women with masculine features such as a deep voice or a muscular body.
If the men are attracted to her masculine features but still think she is a woman, then they are not gay. That makes them attracted to a woman with masculine features. IF the men are attracted to her masculine features and think she is a man, then he is gay.
When you look at Candis, you are looking at what appears to be a beautiful and very feminine woman.
If he wanted a man, then he would have left her after her surgery. A homosexual male needs and wants the penis. A homosexual female wants a vagina with the occasional dildo if she has bisexual tendencies.
He is married to a post operative transsexual. In his eyes, she is a woman. He is married to a woman. Remember, gay marriage is not allowed in several states. If he were gay, then he couldn't be married to her.
He is straight. -

Yeah but it's to bad nobody can answer the question of whether or not he has dated transgenders in the past. If he has dated transgenders in the past, then this makes him gay, if he hasn't then who knows. I've stated this before, but I know this obvious point will be overlooked again because it is most valid and negates all comments that say he is not gay.

" but his penis is penetrating a vagina"
Not true. His penis is not penetrating a vagina, it's a manufactured piece of skin that was formerly known as a penis shpaed into something that resembles a vagina. He is gay because "candis" is a man. -

First off, I'd like to say that by no way am I agreeing with Midnight, because I know she is a biggot, but I would like to say this:
Vagina- The passage leading from the opening of the vulva to the cervix of the uterus in female mammals.
That is exactly what it says at dictionary.com about that. I personally don't think a person is gay if they happen to fall in love with someone the same sex as them and it is the first and last person they fall in love with of the same sex.
Like in Brokeback Mountain, I didn't think Heath Ledger's character was gay, I think he was in love with Gyllenhall's character for his inner qualities, especially since Ledger never had any sexual relations with another man except for Jake. But I do think that Gyllenhall was gay since he was having flings with other men.
Pretty much, being homosexual and heterosexual is all about attraction to biological and physical characteristics of a person, and has nothing to do with the inner qualities of an individual. -

"because I know she is a biggot"
That is funny to me. You say I am a biggot because I speak the truth and you can't handle it so you label me a biggotROFLMAO. That is a way to escape the truth and reality because you and others like you refuse to accept it. He never had nor does he now have a vagina. As I stated it is manufactured and fake therefore it is NOT a vagina. Especially when you use the dictionary's explanation. He doesn't have a cervixlol. You are either born with one or you don't have onePERIOD!!! -

I just love the way some people who happen to be bigots or racists always say they are "speaking the truth" to justify their racism or bigotry.
Like they say, you can't change facts and the fact is, there is bigotry in this here commentary. -

I read an article about her in the October 9th, 2007 issue of the gay magazine, THE ADVOCATE, and she never mentions having had the surgery (I thought she was post-op, too, but apparently not). She stated her boyfriend DID know she was transgender when they met (to answer some of the past questions about whether or not he knew)

I think people get way to caught up in the genetalia thing. Yes it's a big deal, but the fact is - drumroll - Gay men aren't attracted to anything remotely feminine.
I am a transsexual, I have an extensive dating history as both a gay man, and now as a transgendered woman, and I can tell you, men attracted to transexuals are not gay. I don't care what anyone else thinks, because I know the truth. I have plenty of gay friends, and there would have been no shame if any of my boyfriends were attracted to, or had left me for a man - and given they would have every opportunity to be with a man - none have ever shown the slightest interest in men.
This issue means nothing to me personally, because if the men that were attracted to me identified themselves as gay, I wouldn't care. It doesn't matter to me who they see themselves as, but the guys that see me are exclusively attracted to only woman and transsexuals, some prefer women, some prefer transsexuals, but none are into guys.
As I said, I have enough gay friends and am involved in the gay community to know that gay men are not ino transsexuals, I have enough gay friends that i've hit on drunkely to know it's not going to happen. Also when I transitioned I was still dating a gay man, who loved me dearly, but could not stay with me as he was no longer attracted to me.
I'm sure people will still have their belief regardless or try to pick flaws in my argument, but I know the truth, and the fact is, these guys are not gay. -

Actually, I think many guys attracted to us "Trans Action" want to be transsexuals themselves. Over the past 25 years of living as a female, I've heard too many stories from TS's who said they were dating a guy, then he started taking female hormones and some have even gone on to have the surgery. I'm now involved with a guy who once confessed to me he wanted to live as a "lesbian" (he too denies he is gay). But I have also dated other men who are bisexual: they're attracted to all three; women, transsexuals and men. It gets kind of complicated.

I agree there is a large bi-sexual following, but to be honest i've never experienced anything like what your mentioning, nor have my friends - maybe we're mixing in different circles? I'm from Australia and the guys here are very macho, and the men i've dated here are no different to any of the other hetero guys I know.
There are alot of guys that want to be penetrated, but i've never had much to do with those sorts of guys, I like my men all man, just as they expect me to be all woman.
A close female friend of mine who's boyfriend is straight, said even though he would never sleep with me he thought I was sexy, so go figure. -

Honestly, I don't know why it matters. If they're attracted to each other then let it be. Sometimes love doesn't come with a definition. Like someone mentioned Brokeback Mountain: Ledger's character was only attracted to Gyllenahl's character ..not any other men. But a big point that I think needs to be mentioned is that some people are born as both a female and a man (not sure if this was the case with Candis). In that situation whichever gender they choose (or forced into) may not always be the correct one for them, but the body biologically is both genders at the same time. For those against transI hope it gives you something to think about.
