I live in Canada, so there is a shared border.
I generally don't support increased taxes, which is what a tariff is. we'll see if this experiment works. Almost all economists and business leaders don't think that it will succeed. I wish us all well. -

Neither do I: i repeat, I don't really care about your border either way. If the environment for foreigners becomes less welcoming, I just won't travel there. That's it.

Well, tariffs will help America. Create jobs. Middle class jobs. And we will have to grow plants and the size of existing plants to meet the newfound demand.
I don't care what happens to Canada anymore.
Canada has made it abundantly clear over the years they don't care what happens to America. -

Memorandum that is not legally binding under international law. Budapest memorandum was not a treaty. It was never ratified by the US Senate and it didn't establish any legal obligations for any of the signatories.

Invasion deterrents? You do realize that Ukraine didn't have operational control over the nukes that remained stationed in their country after the fall of USSR? You do realize that launching codes were in Moscow?
Those nukes were never Ukrainian to begin with and they never really had a choice in the matter. They could have either give up the nukes that didn't belong to them or face international sanctions and preemptive military attack by Russia.
