She was really good in her prime time. I mean those were low budget horror movies and she was really good in them. She was more of an eye candy in 'Reanimator' but she did her own in quite a few other flicks, including cool thriller 'Kidnapped'.

What I mean is - she delivered good acting in those low budget movies. There was tons of other hot girls who disappeared after doing 1-3 films(bit parts usually). Barbara still acts after so many years, even though she is pretty much retired as an actress.

Yes she did act very well in those low budget films. That is good to hear that she acted until she retired and I know what you mean on some doing a few films and then leaving the business.

She's actually a decent actress, based on the types of films she's in.
Is she good enough to be in Oscar nominated films, perhaps not, but she's over qualified IMO for some of the B grade stuff she's been in. -

She's grown though quite a bit.
In the 80's I think she wasn't the best, although she seemed to have fun with her roles and was fun to watch.
I just watched the recent movie We Are Still Here and her acting was top-notch. I think she sort of matured into becoming a great actress over the years.
