You all have it wrong.
Take a look at a picture of Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and compare it to Cusick's charecter in lost.
The resemblence is striking.

i think the resemblance between the two is striking, mostly when Henry is clean shaven. they could be brothers.

im not totally familiar with young dustin hoffman. but my mom was telling me that in his old mrs. robinson days he looked a lot like our hottie HIC! but not as hot and short and tiny. she was saying that she thought that "Desmond" was better looking but resembled a young dustin hoffman very much. so i have to say you guys are probably right. i myself, only saw the graduate once though.
