What exactly does the Muslim thing have to do with this topic? And siigh the Americans in this thread are acting in a stereotypically American manner. Anything that can be taken as an insult against their "awesome" and "free" country will be met with such simple yet hateful terms as "stupid" or "pansies".
No bloody wonder the lady would rather her child speak actual English.- Tasha.

The article says it in a much more negative way than she did. You should see if you can find the clip from the Graham Norton Show where she said it. She isn't bringing her daughter back to England only for that reason. It was a cute little anecdote about her daughter having a different accent from the rest of the family. And the part at the end was that the nanny had a northern, completely different sort of British accent from Anna. So her daughter said some words like Anna would, some like an American, and some like the nannythree different types of accents from one little child.
