Anyone here knows if there's some pics of her and Wayne(Scorpius) without the makeup?? I've tried searching, but I couldn't find anything
"When I joined the show I was working with the Moya crew, having a great time there and suddenly this character Scorpius walked into the room and I just went "Hellooo!"(laughs)I had seen Wayne on television before and I had seen his face, and then to meet him as Scorpius Really laid back and with a knockout performence. I hadn't seen anyhthing like Scorpius before in my life. So in the series I was dropping these little hints as we where going along. You know, giving him a look or throwing him a smile or something, when the rest of the crew was so anti-Scorpius. I was thinking "He's a genius!" He might be a little twisted, but he's a genius man and that's why Sikozu found him a big turn-on. If she finds a mind that she finds fascinating, she'll really go for that mind. And I mean, Scorpius's mind, what a mind to latch on to. So the writers picked up on that. They getit's a littleI'm not gonna say perverse, it's not perverse at all. It's just a little different. ^ agree wholeheartedly.
It was a transparently silly thing to do - just bad, lazy writing.
While I'm grateful there was
some
kind of finale (after the perpetually
horrible
scifi channel bailed on their commitments because they thought they would only make a profit of 15 instead of 20 [profit isn't good enough anymore now it must be LOTS of profit]), PKW was just
riddled
with plot holes//divergences and awful writing. Really - I've read better fan writing.
As for Sikozu, they did this despite showing her to be not just intelligent/species-loyal, but in the freakin' genetically modified underground resistance, ffs!
Just awful. Untenably atrocious.

Yeah, I missed a lot while working a job that was heavy on the hours. After finally seeing the first season (about 2 months ago), I thought 'Wow What a gorgeous show - Do other people know how good this was?',b68 then discovered that .yes.yes they do.
Do you still watch it, or did you long ago burn out on it? I didn't realize how long ago you posted your righteous defense of Sikozu's character before I chimed in. -

Wish we had 7 or 8 seasons, at least.
Such a shame the way money controls/dictates every aspect of the cinematic arts. Good stories rarely get told (and are always adulterated/messed with), as the money people16d0 always want films to appeal the the largest number of people possible. Generally speaking (and increasingly, it seems), that rules out 'smart and interesting' about 90% of the time.
B5 had it's story arc ruined in much the same 'will-they-fund-us-or-will-they-not' manner as Farscape.
