Barnard Hughes gave a wonderful performance in this movie from the 1970's. So happy to hear that he is still alive and hopefully in good health and spirits.

Forgotten by many, The Thanksgiving Treasure is a superb family drama which centers around the characters played by Hughes and the gifted child actress Lisa Lucas. Jason Robards, Jr. and Mildred Natwick are also featured in fine supporting roles.
This drama followed The House Without a Christmas Tree, a better-known holiday classic, featuring Robards, Natwick, and Lucas but without Hughes.
Both highly recommended and now available as reasonably priced DVD set.
