Yep that was the same day. I don't know what to say because we were by the train when he first started signing. He just wasn't happy. I get people are tired and etc but it was weird. I met Kirk Gibson and Lance Parrish when I was younger and they were awesome. Seeing Kevin James was so exciting for my son and it just bummed him out.

It is part of their jobs to go out on the publicity tours. Any professional knows that you play your part, leave your own baggage at the door. So, as we know, James is hardly what one would call professional, given his ability to act, I guess he figures he can do whatever he wants.
You probably shouldn't encourage your child to see his movies, they are tacky and stupid. -

I know this is an old post but I have a few points:
- Sometimes a person doesn't realize what they're in for when they become famous. They don't know what type of attention they'll get until it actually happens to them.
- EVERYONE has bad days. Celebs have days they don't want attention EVERYONE, no matter who they are has days they wish they could hide. They can't choose not to be famous one day, it's not like it's a switch they can turn off.
3.For all you know the OP is lying.

You expect him to sign 150 pieces of paper because that is your expectation of what he owes people? I question who the selfish ones are. Why is his name on a piece of paper so important?
It's you who set your son up for dissapointment by making him promises you were not sure of. -

Although I do agree that celebrities have the right for an off day where they can be a total ass, I think they should set their bad mood aside when it comes to press tour because it's part of their job. They are getting paid not just for acting, but for PROMOTING the movie which entails being nice to fans and future audience.

This answer says it all, there is nothing more to say. -

He was likely paid a good few million to do the movie, just to act like someone who closely resembles his own personality. Promotion is the hardest work, and pretty much the only real work he did for the movie, and if he's getting paid millions of dollars for it then he could at least act as though he deserves a fraction of the money.

Yea I think people really discredit themselves by making false statements, especially when the cameras show otherwise I've never heard of Kevin James being a jerk and if so, who cares if you paid to see the movie, that's what you got, entertainment. He doesn't get paid to sign autographs and in most cases, does it as part of publicity for "upcoming" events There was no solid evidence of him being a "jerk" nice.

Sorry the OP has a valid point.
It is different when people post on here and say I saw So and So at an airport and they were rude to me, or I was at a restaurant and I walked over to their table and they were rude.totally differentyou're treading on their personal space.
When a celebrity is doing a personal appearance you give it your all. It sounded like James didn't want to be there.
Well too bad if he was tired. You put on your game face and you deliver.
He should be thankful people showed up and wanted his autograph. -

OP should wake up! The industry isn't what it used to be in your time. These days actors are working slaves and do it all for the money. Actor like Kevin isn't a nice person in real life, he's a greedy and sellfish person. Cause that's the only kind of people that would even want to do the job they are doing.
