V for Vendetta sucked ass.
All the movie did was try to get YOU to feel sorry for everyone excluding the "over-the-top" facist catholics. A good film? It was a total CheeseFest.
That film was for people who are easily moved emotionally.

Her writing is fantastic. Her film, howevernot so much. She doesn't quite understand the nature of the medium just yet. But she could certainly give it another try.

I'm with you. I seriously do not want to see this person, or anything she is involved with ever again. T2000he sad thing that she actually appeals to some pathetic little group of people who are the type of people who will go online into bulletin boards (such as this on IMDB) and start to tell EVERYONE that this girl is AMAZING in her acting & writing. ugh
I would say something like "I hope she dies tomorrow" because that is really how I feel - but I would never wish death upon anyone.

You have a right to your opinion, but remember, there are a lot of us who like Miranda July and her work, and because of that she should be able to keep making films. You are not the only filmgoer in the universe.

BE IN THEM is my biggest beef. She's got some writing skills, but her directing skills are lacking and her "acting" skills? I've seen more talent in kindergarden plays.
