His roles in ETD and Black Belt Jones were great, he's an awesome martial artist, he's funny. I just don't get why Jim Kelly didn't go on to be huge.

He said in interviews on Youtube that the reason why he doesn
t do much roles is because the roles he is offered arent good. He said they were lousy and weak characters. He also says he will do a film if the script and character is good.

Has been a complete, mystery 2me.. plus he didn't allude 2any personal issues when interviewed back[ 1993 (or'94), publicity event here[ London, #BruceLee convention. Where he paid *respects2 Brandon Lee & launched the 'Legends of a Fighter' Video.
The man had/has so many *talents! Sorely wasted by the film/TV industry, very glad 2see he's involved^ production. -

True, his acting wasn't goodsounded like he was reading from the script. Still he had strong screen presence and excellent martial arts skills. I always thought that if he was in movies where his dialogue was kept to a minimum, and they focused more on him doing action sequences, he could have possibly been more popular.
