Katy isn't that small. The older part of Katy is a little smaller, but Taylor High School is straight-up Houston suburbs. It's all just a few minutes from Houston, either way.
Adding to the list, Janeane Garofalo graduated from Taylor HS as well. -

OK, I can take this in two ways. You're either telling me that my English is not that good or CRHS really has a shortage of English teachers at the moment
Well, it's possible that my English is no5b4t correct all of the time because I'm not a native speaker. My mother tongue is German and I only was an exchange student at Cinco for one year. I'm always glad if somebody corrects my English because I'm still working on improving it

I grew up in Katy and graduated from Katy High. We forget when the Renees lived in Katy it was still relativley small. It was growing, but just in the last ten/ fifteen years did Katy get a huge boom.
Plus there is a Katy Proper and Katy area. Katy High School is in Katy Proper and Taylor High School is in the Katy area. In the 2000 U.S. census Katy had a population of 11,775 (according to Wikipedia). It is pretty neat to see that several famous people grew up in the same town. -
