He reminds me a bit of a younger (blond) Rick Springfield, I think maybe it's the eyes. Also, an actor named Chris Potter (from the later seasons of Silk Stalkings).

i think he looks remarkably like Mark Harmon. at one point in "Virtual Sexuality" there was a sly grin that I had seen on NCIS not 25 minutes before.

I think he looks a lot like Ian Ogilvy from Return of the Saint. Same nose and chin. It's a shame his career turned to sh*t.

Absolutly, i just watched an episode of the saint with Ian Ogilvy and had to come look up whether he was ruperts father. They look identical.

I have a longer memory, judging by the lookalike names suggested, but I think he has a strong resemblance to JOHN LUND (To Each His Own, A Foreign Affair, High Society) who began his career in the mid-'40s.
RPJ is the type of gentleman who would have been cast as Ashley Wilkes in GONE WITH THE WIND if it were made today. He's definitely the Leslie Howard type.
