What makes you think people are annoyed by her?
I am not just making it up.
I keep myself pretty up-to-date on interviews and articles about her and her movies, and it seems that nobody really cares anymore. You don't even get the " who came out as gay in 2014 " comment that seemed obligatory for months after she came out.

Currently there's only one place where this subject comes up again and again and this is the IMDb message board. So, don't get biased by the threads on here.
The rest of the world moved on, and you should do, too.
What makes you think that I get my consensus from this board? I did not say what I said based on this site. Perhaps you should take a second look at articles on her because all i see is lesbian this lesbian that. The next film she plays the lover to some women, blah, blah ,blah. As I said she is now the Lesbian actress and not the actress who also happens to be a lesbian. Also, do not presume to tell me how I feel and when to move on. You should have done some research before posting your smug reply to me. I answered a question the op asked. -

Ok, apparently I'm not as up-to-date as I thought.
But still, everybody seems to be pretty happy about her. Maybe it's just pro LGBT cheer pressure, but there's not a lot of negative coverage.
So, be annoyed by her as much as you want, but don't project this onto the masses.
P.S. I'm aware that "cheer pressure" is made up, but it gets the meaning across

I doubt you are ever going to find articles critical of her actions lest they get branded as homophobic. However I have seen that a lot of people share my assessment so I am not projecting anything on anyone. You admit to not being up to date, yet you project that everyone is happy because you are despite just accusing me of the same, but my view is based on actual things I've seen. Seems a bit hypocritical to me.
P.S. I'm aware that "cheer pressure" is made up, but it gets the meaning across

From personal experience the only people angry or against Ellen Page after her coming out are
A.) People who already disliked her
B.) People who dislike gay people or gay people who talk about being gay.
If you look at lrdcharlton's posts you'll see what I'm talking about. He's called her a dyke and a freak because she prefers to wear suits. -

I initially found you somewhat droll, funny in a pathetic way. The comedy is that you don't even realize that you are validating my description of you. I'm obsessed?
