You're obsessed because you've been on this board for years complaining about how a woman chooses to dress and present herself in public. She's not even that high profile which makes it all the more bizarre as to why you're so fixated on her appearance and demeanor.

And I stated a long time ago I had once liked her already knowing she was into chicks. After stepping out her invisible closet she changed as a person and not in a good way,and not only her appearance. You've achieved nothing and have made no difference to this board.Looking at you're post history you don't do much than trlolling this bored and two other films and gaycation, gosh you're boring.The truth is you like reading my posts, you find them interesting and engage me because you like what I say. I browse the board in general. You really aren't that significant; you aren't the first troll here and you won't be the last, although you are one of the only ones obsessed with her fashion. I guess that's par for the course for someone who watches stuff like 'Sex and the City'.

I only mentioned about her desire to dress like a dude, fashion and dressing like a bloke when your a chick are two entirely different things. You're really dead set on me being attracte111cd to you, aren't you? Hmmm I talk to numerous people online here and outside of IMDb. You're an oddity in that you're one of the only people I've seen to be as fixated on what one particular woman wears but I've ran into weirder people. -

LOL she usually plays annoying characters. Inception, Hard Candy, Super.
It's her acting persona. A okay with her coming and all but since then she hasn't starred in many films. And the films she stars in are usually indie and low-budget. Oh well, I would love to see her in another video game though. -

A.) She's been in acting around the same amount of films as she was before. She's always done 90% indie work.
B.) I have no idea how you could view Juno as being anti-male unless you're so insecure that any negative male character upsets you. Two of Juno's strongest relationships in the film were with her dad and Paulie. -

Don't be naivePage and Cody are self proclaimed feminists and have stated so publicly. Cody grew up one town over from me and I know exactly why she wrote this screenplay, having lived in the same area and knowing how it is around here and the pressure to fit in. This film was a personal agenda by Cody back to her high school days where she felt on the outside, much like John Hughes constant theme of the social outsider always being the protagonist and winning out against the evil mainstream kids.
The men in this film are one dimensional and cliched. Cody stereotypes every male figure, even saying how jocks secretly like girls such as Junothat's because Cody probably was ignored by jock types, so thus her 'revenge'. Why do you think she was a pole dancer? So she could control men sexually and it clearly comes out in Juno's using sex to control Paulie. It was her idea, then she tells him she's sorry she had sex with him, like she cut his balls off. Paulie was portrayed as meek and completely controlled by Juno, his role was that of basically being a sperm donor who had no choice or feelings on what legally was his child as much as Juno's. The relationship between he and Juno might as well have been completely removed, he had nothing to contribute to the story and his character's personal feelings were ignored.
Juno's dad is portrayed as this simple minded, kindly man whose life ambition was to be a refrigerator repairman, while Juno's mom is a business owner and is portrayed as strong and opinionated as shown in the scene where she berates the ultrasound tech about womanhood and child rearing. I will admit Juno and Dad share a couple of tender moments, which is something of a role reversal between him and his wife but he is Juno's bio-dad so I can understand Juno confiding more in him.
The real clincher is Mark; this is where Cody really starts throwing her bra away. He's clearly made out to be the bad guyit's hinted that his wife is the breadwinner and he just 'contributes', even though he apparently has talent in music and art and makes a good living. His wife is portrayed as assured, professional and having direction while Mark is a man-child who hasn't emotionally grown up. He's chastised for wanting to pursue his own dreams while his wife has accomplished her goals but now wants a child. Her goals supercede Mark's. Mark wanting to back out of the arrangement with Juno is perfectly understandable; he had second thoughts on whether he could handle being a parent, in fact it's a better decision than going ahead with the adoption when you don't want to do it yetbut his wife has her agendas which again supercede Mark.
The relationship between Mark and Juno is a joke, Cody vaguely hints there is a physical attraction as well as an emotional one to underscore Mark's immaturity i.e. he wants a younger woman. This is so obvious. I'd wager Cody had such a rela1354tionship at some point and this dynamic is just another one of her experiences that she needs to purge herself of through Mark's character. To her, Mark is just another older dude looking to hookup with a young woman. The same could also be said about Juno's friend who is attracted to the school teacheryet another Cody fantasy involving disparate age pairing.
You can call me whatever you want, as the secure man that I am it doesn't faze me. I deal with reality. Going on the overall fact that this was just a movie I don't take it all that seriouslyJuno isn't real world, most high school girls are not equipped to deal with pregnancy in the cool, hip, assured manner of Juno. They almost always end up aborting, giving the child to an agency or keeping it and having their parents doing most of the work raising it while the girl struggles with ever being able to be self sufficient.
Cody tries to present this as a teenage "I am woman, hear me roar" vehicle when the truth is a completely different reality and Juno is her alter ego. She's in effect getting back at every guy who either did her wrong or did things that she perceived as wrong and uses a wide brush to paint them as such. The men in this film are considered irrelevant, even an obstruction.
