She's not trying to deny what she is, she just doesn't feel the need to shout out "I'm a black lesbian" from the rooftops. Hell, do you think it weird that I don't tell everyone that I'm a straight white-British woman?
I was gonna let you beep me, but I got my rag, and I know how you hate a mess -

Hell, do you think it weird that I don't tell everyone that I'm a straight white-British woman?
And you think that's the same as being a "African-American Lesbian"? No one yells it from the rooftop but still people have fought to have pride for those titles. Being a "straight white-British woman" isn't something you felt oppressed against. As I said before no one here in the states that I know who's African-American or gay has the same mindset that she has. Dunno what's it like across the pond but ain't that way here for sure. Which makes what Raven-Symone said so puzzling. Is she even a "thing" in the UK? Just don't think Downton Abbey is being followed by That's So Raven, or having a spot of Earl Grey tea while watching it either! -

But that still doesn't explain why she should have to shout about who she is. No-one should have to just to please others, whether they're British or American. I do understand what you're saying, just feel sad that in these day and ages that minority groups are still treated so badly by others. And yes, That's so Raven has been on here, but usually on Children's channels, so certainly wouldn't be following Downton Abbey! And Earl Grey? Nah, I prefer proper builders tea!

Well, maybe she does! Interesting you say that cause not that long ago I was watching something and builders tea was mentioned(think it was from As Time Goes By). Now I had never heard of it and thought its an interesting name for a tea. So what kind of tea is that? What does it taste like?

As Time Goes By is Brilliant, not long showing the re-runs in the UK. I remember when it was first shown, back in the 80's.It's usually strong tea with plenty of sugar in, though I take mine without the sugar. My husband has proper builders tea

All comes down to she's ashamed of being homosexual. Than why come out at all? DUH!
Yes that is a good point. She seems confused about who she is. Bi-polar more than bisexual seems to describe her more accuratly!
