LOL, Who said I cannot accept a different opinion. your opinion are stupid, its like saying 1+1 is 3 and you want people to accept that because it is your opinion. your opinion have no legitimate reason.
you sound foolish when you are trying to explain them. did you not say Hermione was a mary sue? when in reality she was not. bella swan is a big sue and katniss are little sue. I dont see you calling this girls are out.
Saying jk roiwling is like george lucas is just stupid. no one will ever agree to that. JK Rowling is one of the most celebrated author of this era both critically and commercially. her recent book the cuckoos calling was one of the best selling and most criti238cally acclaimed book of 2013. please when last did Lucas produce something good.
so they are not the same.
please shut your idiotic mouth, actually most potter fans are grown up now like star wars fan and majority of the potter fans are adults now with kids, the series defined a generation and an era. it was not about a particular demo like hunger games or twilight.
I don't think they have the time to argue with a stupid fan girl like you. if you are looking at some of the dumbest fan-base on the internet why don't you try the t5b4wilight and hunger games fangirls or the one direction fangirls, of course you are one of them.
Its obvious since your mad because your favorite couple did not sail.BWHAHAHAHA.

Okay. How am I wrong? How the beep am I wrong? Because I called Hermione a Sue when you don't think that?
You didn't answer my question. What does being Asian have to do with liking a character? You clearly hate Asians and think they're all Yellow Supremacists. I bet you would also disown your child for dating a black person, demand that a Jew gets fired from the bank so he doesn't steal your money, think all gay people rape children, and petition to get anyone of Islamic descent kicked out of the country.
How about you stop making assumptions about me, stop White Knighting Rowling, and just accept that not everyone likes HP. Critical acclaim doesn't exempt somebody from criticism. You sound like a "Twilight" Fangirl that uses book sales as a justification of liking it. Of course, you're just going to ignore everything I said and accuse me of being bitter that Neville didn't get with Luna or something.
I don't like "Harry Potter." It started good, but launched itself over a shark. You can accuse me of being an angry shipper all you like, but that doesn't change the fact that somebody out there doesn't agree with you.

        question7 — 12 years ago(January 14, 2014 03:56 AM)

you called hermione a sue when you did not even know what a sue is.
Yes everything is criticized but your ciritscm makes no sense. putting Rowling and Lucas on the same level is a silly criticism and yes you are Asian.
to you it started good but jump the shark and that is fine its your opinon, however it does not hold as much merit, is like saying a kid who started with a B grade in the freshman year of high school only to end up with an A grade by the end of high school is a bad academic kid.
that is a stupid comment, Harry potter started great and stayed great this is a view the large majority share.
you are also the same person that thinks mockingjay is a good book and has enough source material to have 2 films? and you think HP jumped the shark. you logic is laughable. they will have to drag out mocking jay whereas in deathly hallows lots of parts in the book were still missing in the films and this is because deathly hallow had depth with a big story. mockingjay does not have any of this things.
Seriously your hate for Roweling is based on the fact that Susan collins will always play second field to her in overall success and fiction legacy.
this is why you make me laugh.
i disagree with people when they make good opinions that i just view differently. some people just make stupid opinions like you.

Answer my god damn question! What does being Asian have to do with liking a character? What are you? A Mexican immigrant?
Why do you keep making untrue assumptions about me? Every time I argue my point, you always throw "You just hate it because your Asian," or "You must be a 'Hunger Games' fanboy." The only argument you actually made was the "Hermione is a Mary Sue" comment. Is that really the only defense you have, so you justda0 keep throwing insults about me?

Still lacking logic and supreme intelleence.
HMMMM..You said I have no defenselets see,

            1. Harry potter is the one with the 12 oscar nominations and AFI lifetime achievement awards. which is the oldest and most prestigious award you can get in hollywood.
            2. Hunger games does not have any oscar nominations and will never get awarded by the AFI.
            3. Rowling who you hate so much is constantly listed as one of the greatest fantasy authors of this era. Susan Collins is never always on the list.
            4. Rowling who you hate so much was shortlist for a noble prize and is the most awarded female author in modern history.
            5. EW HP ranked 1. as the greatest ever YA book. Hunger games was 8th
            6. EW all time greatest book. HP ranked 7. Hunger games did not make list.
Hunger games is good series It is better than twilight, I like it but it is not on the same level as HP in term if writing and creation.
All this are facts and are a real defense, you are just saying bs things. you just go around calling JK Rowling names..
              bytch please.

Says the person who misspelled "intelligence."

And "5b4Star Wars" was a high-grossing, award-winning franchise. That doesn't stop people from wearing "George Lucas Raped My Childhood" shirts.
Yes, I don't approve of the writing decisions made in the last three books. But that doesn't mean I hate Rowling to the point where I want bad things happening to her. I was just speaking matter-of-factly when I said nobody was going to watch "The Casual Vacancy" since nobody liked the book. Maybe using a pen-name was a good idea for "Cuckoo's Calling." Maybe people hated TCV because it was being unfairly compared to HP. I haven't read it, but I know what people think of it. I thought the people who bought the film rights made a short-sighted decision.

Actually people still like george lucas and will forever be grateful to him for star wars including me.
You dont see your lies, you are comparing jk Rowling to george lucas when jk rowling has not yet messed up the HP series. she released 7 solid books. Lucas did not release 6 solid star wars film.
the majority of star wars fans hated the prequels only less than tiny minority hate the last books of HP. Half blood prince is usually considers as the best book and deathly hallows is usually regarded as one of the best finales of all time.
You can hate her , if you want but stop trying to discredit her or trying to tear down everything she has accomplished.
                is lame and is bratty.

Ummm didnt mess up the books? Did you read any of them after the third? They became convoluted, non-sensical, sprawling and laughably bad.

I think she needs to make an awful Harry Potter Christmas special and a disappointing prequel trilogy to become the George Lucas of literature.

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is shaping up for that. Spreading a 100 page guidebook into a three movie series just screams milking. Yeah, because that's working so well for "The Hobbit."
She may have not have written a bad Prequel Trilogy, but she has written a "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," or as you like to call it, "Order of the Phoenix." It's clear that Rowling stopped giving a beep, wanted to write a teen romance, but slapped the "Harry Potter" name on it because of her contract.

Sadly, I have thought the same thing, too. 😛 Also, I wish she would stop talking about American politics and whatnot. It annoys me when certain celebrity figures impose themselves and their opinions out there on everyone in such a way, and using her Harry Potter series to make statements. It's just annoying.
