I have saw Dougray in a couple films. The first time I though of hi7ecm as James Bond when I saw Ever After. He is a well versalite actor.

        TOTALLY AGREED!!!!!!!!
Even more: what did Pierce Brosnan playing this Bond character????
That one was made just for Dougray!!!!!!! Dougray is more handsome, sexier, unbelievably gorgeous-looking unbelievably talented spectacular for a different 007!!!! Besides, HE has a NATURAL "license to Kill"!!! 😉 Dougray Scott would be a quite a KILLER James Bond!!!!!!
Definitely, that Movies Industry is missing more "clinique eye" than I thought 😞

Ironically enough, many of you probably dont know that dougray scott has already appeared in a bond movie - not as bond obviously! At the start of Goldeneye, General Ourumov shoots trevelyan and bond jumps behind a wheely cart full of gas tanks. Ourumov then tells his guards not to shoot. A nervous guard then shoots and gets shot promptly by Ourumov. That guard is dougray scott!! Watch carefully but it is him (he is uncredited for the roll)

dougray scott woudl be well suited for a bond villain. My money is on Ralph Fiennes. he would be sensational in the role

Dougray could play a villain, but I am think for him in another movie. A perfect bond villian would be Aaron Eckhart.

No he should play a bond villian, along with the Gorgous Gerard Butler, who should be naked. Dougray can play his ugly half brother. Of course Clive Owen can play the role of Bond, but he should show Gerard the error of his ways and recruit him as his side kick, only to find that Gerard is far more successful with the ladies, and holds his Martinis better. Meanwhile Dougray can go mad at the lose of his far better looking half brother (Gerard gave him his cast off women) and gets commited due to sexual frustraion!
Personally, my housemate and I find this Bond plot far more entertaining than anything Ian Fleming can write AND we get to see Gerard Butler naked! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
P.S. We do find that Dougray and Gerard look similar and they're both Scottish!

mr. scott would be perfect for the role but it could be only after the person who is next in line. although i know he's basically 40 years of age already, he still just looks too young and has been in roles with characters who are way too dark and a little immature as well. in america i think the best known roles for him are in mission impossible 2 and then ever after. and both characters were very immature and unwise which are not characteristics well-associated with james bond. but maybe, just maybe, if this last "brosnan bond" takes a while to finally be released mr. scott would have a chance to change his image in america. he just needs to lighten up a bit more after these roles he's played to really be seen as the confident, sophisticated, free-minded james bond. i hope he wants this role because i think he has so much potential and james bond is one of the most beloved characters in all cinema. he's very important to a lot of people. and he may be best done by a 111cscotsman. just going off a tangent here, but my favorite of couse is sean connery who is from scotland. so i'm gonna root for the scots. hopefully they will once again have in hand james bond. this is now the end of my babling. sorry all

                        Colin Farrell
as far as I'm concerned, but I doubt either will be offered/accept the role

Pierce Bronson will play in the next 007 movie. He still look good for his age, but how long can he play Bond? I hope Dougray get a change to Bond before he gets old.

                            Well. 😞
Not good news, guys! From an interview he gave lately, looks like Dougray Scott won't play a future Bond! A preview poster has posted this before and I have to say a confirmation: we can forget about this possibilitysniff
Probably Dougray does not want a future association to the "Licensed to Kill"16d0 "forever and ever" Maybe he's right.
                            Oh well! sniff

There was a rumour quote a while ago, I think the producers talked about it with him. I heard he turned the part down, though, because he didn't think he was suave enough with the ladies to be Bond.
Too bad, though. He's a great actor.

I think he is too old now but to me he has this perfect bond look to him. He would have been a good choice if Pierce Brosnan didn't get the role. Goldeneye came out in 1995 so he would have been thirty then.
