Absolutely. I liked him in
Die Hard
but let's also remember his early roles:
The Crimson Kimono, Bridge to the Sun, Flower Drum Song
, appearances in many TV shows, including two episodes of
The Outer Limits
. I imagine as an Asian actor his opportunities were limited but he still managed a long career and was always a complete professional.

A wonderful actor with an impressive body of work. Lots of great television as well as films like MIDWAY (he's excellent), DIE HARD and MULAN. He'll be sorely missed. Rest In Peace.
