No you chill. I dont need a speech about how you want to bond with a actor due to their ethnicity. That is so stupid! Oh I want to bond with Denzel because he is black?!!!!? Please! I can give a rat's a about a person's ethnic background! I bond with a person due to their work. I asked a simple question. If you knew where I was comming from (and you dont) then you would know why I asked that question. So you chill OUT! Like I said the world believes the lighter the better! If you were an African American and you grew up in an African American environment you would know this! Why do you think Beyonce is everyone's favorite? Heck there are millions of other black females who look like her. Dang! People act like she was built in a lab. Her ethnic background is no different than mine or any other black person. She just happened to come out lighter. But if it makes people feel better to say she has French and Indian in her to accept her, then go ahead. Knock yourself out! I was simply making a point. I am so tired of this crap and I wish people would move on from race and talk about something else. Heck, bring the troops home! Lower Gas Prices! By the way lets get back to real point of this board, to praise the work of Daniel Sunjate! I am finished with this topic. There are more important things in the world and I am not responding to anymore of this crap. You people are too sensitve.

How can you bond with people due to their work when all you see are colors/shades (black, white, light, dark). BTW, you started the issue on race when you mentioned colors. The person who started the thread simply wanted to know his ethnic background. Ethnicity and race are 2 totally different things. It's okay if you don't give a "rat's a about a person's ethnic background". That's your perogative (and your loss) coz there's a lot to learn from other people's cultures. It may seem stupid to you but some people are actually proud of their ethnic backgrounds and when someone from the same "ethnic group" becomes famous, they actually show pride in it. Take for example the World Cup. Blacks, whites, latinos, hispanics, asians They may belong in those "check boxes" but they carry different flags.

Sounds like you're a little bitter there showgurls. I've been asked that same question thousands of times since I was a little girl and to this day, I don't mind it. It's better than people just assuming. At least they're curious. And for your information, I don't care what someone's skin color is (black, white, pink, green or neon blue), I was to know their ethnic background. I find it fascinating, as do lots of other people. So stop hating.

Based on the information from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Sunjata:
"Sunjata is of multi-ethnic ancestry, which includes African American, German and Irish descendencies." -

omg some ppl need to use their time more constructively instead of blasting ppl 4 asking his ethnicity. i was curious too but only cuz he is very good looking and most good looking people come from a mix ie wentworth miller is "white" yet he is a MAJOR mix of 8 different things. I know that im gonna get all these irate ppl going "ohhh so now only mixed ppl r hot bla bla bla" but yes, i do think people who are from a mixed background are generally better looking cuz they have more of a mysterious and exotic appeal to them.5b4

@XOsummerXo
People are good-looking whether they are bi-racial or not. All this racist bull**** about biracial or multiracial people looking better simply than everyone because they are mixed is just thatnonsense spewed by people who haven't been around biracial folks very much. Also that whole "mixed people are better-looking" bull**** stems from slavery, where the slavemasters would treat their mixed offspring better than the other slaves the closer to white they looked. So that's actually where that "light-skinned people are better looking" BS came from, and it's just some white supremacist bull****. Because there are way too many people that aren't mixed who are attractive to still even be saying some stupid s*** like that.
And yeah, Daniel Sunjata's hot, and he's obviously blacklike I said, I see guys who look like him most of the timehe wouldn't even stand out as unique whee I'm fromhe'd be just another good-looking brother walking down the street,lol. -
