you know, there are people who look like daniel and both their parents are considered 'african american'. my cousin is an actress, she's african american and has blonde hair naturally, white people ask her if she is latino. i don't get she looks like an african american to me but then i realize we come in a wide variety regarding daniel, i remember being at a party and someone didn't know he was Black and all i could think was 'you couldn't get more African than Sunjata', if you k2000now anything about Western Africa its not an uncommon name. esp. as it's been explained in this thread with its various iterations.

People that are born in America are called "Americans"I'm of African decent born in America, which means I'm African-AmericanIt wouldn't be correct to just call me African because I wasn't born in AfricaBut, the people that are the original natives of this land are Native American, because America is their origin of birth!

Daniel is what he is. He knows and his family knows. You can never go on a name or the color of the skin. The only thing that should matter is that he is human. He is a brilliant actor and a wonderful person. Ethnicity shouldn't matter to anyone.
P5b4.S. I am of Polish, Irish, and Scottish decent so does that clasify me as a Polish Irish American? I don't think so. I am American. That is what matters.
