I was really surprised to see that he had lost so much weight in last night's Raising Hope. Way to go Ethan! You look great! I recently watched Blow, he had to be at his heaviest in that role, it was the heaviest I've ever seen him anyhow. I sure am glad to see he has taken control of his weight and is becoming a healthier version of himself. Bravo!

I agree that Ethan Supplee looks great now. But resent the whole "take control of his weighthealthyblah, blah blah.
First of all, I would bet money that he's lost a good amount of that weight through liposuction. So, no will power or exercise or "control" involved.
Secondly, by looking at him, I got the impression that his overweight is most likely due to a pituitary/thyroid condition. Very possibly, this man ate less than you did most of his life.
The ignorance where fat is involved is of epic proportions and as someone who's been viewed as a "glutton" despite having eaten very little (less than600- 1000 calories a day for the first 30 years of my life -

He also went on a water and vegetable diet. Men lose weight particularly fast on a no sugar, water diet. I'm talking loss of inches within a week. They don't have the issues women have because womens retention level is higher, men do however grow visceral fat more-so than women and that's very difficult for men to lose without diet and exercise.

i just saw him raising hopei didn't even realize it was him, but i kept thinking it LOOKED like him. So I had to IMDB it. Especially after they made a joke about him looking like the skinny version of that guy from Mallrats.
Good for him. -

I just saw him in Evolution. If he continued on like that he would stand a good chance of being dead now. Him, John Goodman and Drew Carey should be poster children for American obesity. There is no good reason for a person to be overweight like that.

There is also no good reason for everyone out there to make fat people feel worse about themselves. For every fat person that gets motivated to lose weight by negative words, five more don't get motivated and it only gets worse.
I hate IMDb sometimes! They are never any
when you need it.
