Writer/Director Kevin Smith said in a Q&A on the Mallrats 10th Anniversary DVD that he challenged Ethan that Kevin could lose more weight than Ethan could in the next ten years, and that Ethan took the bet rather seriously and thus the reason behind his weight loss. Furthermore, he is now a television/movie star and thus would be properly motivated in that alone to lose weight and be more presentable on-screen.

He definitely has lost a good amount of w5b4eight. Suplee was definitely a blimp several years ago, especially in AMERICAN HISTORY X. With his girth and that skinhead of his, I couldn't help but think of Wilson Fisk, AKA the Kingpin from Marvel Comics. Now since he's lost weight, grew his beard longer, and with those glasses on, he resembles a taller Kevin Smith.

I didn't notice his weight loss untill I rewatched Blow shortly after a My Name is Earl marathon. The difference is amazing, and though still more than chubby, he looks healthy238 for the first time

I heard of a polish prostitute that had HIV and the HIV just disappeared and no one knows why so why don't you go and get yourself HIV. Maybe you should also get obese and start smoking ALOT I'll be at your funeral in 15 years.

You really sound like a dam idiot,do you even know anyone that has the virus?
HIV is a horrible,terrible disease,I realize that you were trying to make a point,but you should of thought of a better annswer and a much better comeback than what you did.Telling someone to go get the HIV virus just sounds so stupid and immature,you might benefit from visiting the hospital,the ward where they have the tiny babies and young children that are living with HIV and the AIDS virus. -

You're claiming that your grandfather is nearly 400 lbs, smokes constantly and is still healthy at age 86? There's no way in hell that could possibly be true.
