Yea he is amazing is Star Trek. Kurn and the visotor! I hope he gets a main role in a trek series but he's such a busy guy I doubt he would have the time to tie himself down to a series.

Inner Light in TNG and The Visitor in DS9 stand above all other star trek episodes in terms of hitting you emotionally. Episodes like these touch you like other shows cant.

i just watched "The Visitor" and i agree that its one of the best episodes of any star trek. It's definitely my favourate episode in DS9.
its such a complete and perfect story that wraps up perfectly. Tony Todds performance is what makes it though. He is so believable. Even Cirroc Lofton (the kid who plays Jake at 17)5b4 does a great job in this episode (but he does in most episodes).
It's funny how jake's character was another one of those somewhat do-goodie characters (no where near as bad as wesley lol) and he came off a lot more likeable and realistic than other kids on the other series. If welsey was more like jake, he wouldnt be so hated lol. Jake was more of a normal person.
There are other episodes that have tony todd playing characters on other series as well. He Played Worf's brother, Kurn as well. He was on voyager as the hirogen hunting the Species 8472. Both episodes are pretty good, but not as good as The Visitor.
Every time i see tony todd in something i enjoy it. He's just a great actor period. -

I couldn't agree more. And it was Tony Todd's performance that carried the entire hour.
I honestly think it was the best hour of Star Trek I've ever seen. And all without the special FX, action, and explosions. Just an amazing performance. -

Wow. I'm ashamed to say Id' forgotten Mr. Todd played the aged Jake Sisko in that episode. I came here after seeing the TNG episode "Sins OF The Father" where he played Worf's brother, Kurn. He was wonderful in both roles.
