   Aside from (moments in) Cronus, I don't like any of his other films. (I haven't seen Hellboy II, but seeing as how I didn't enjoy the first Hellboy, I doubt I would enjoy that movie, either.)

its strange for me pans labyrinth and devils backbone are both 10/10 but i couldnt stand the hellboy films or blade 2, im going to give cronos a try i dont really like the look of mimic

Pacific Rim(TBD)
To me, his films fall into 3 categories.
Small personal works like Cronos, The Devil's Backbone, and Pan's Labyrinth,
&
mainstream Hollywood blockbusters like Mimic, Blade II, and now Pacific Rim.
The Hellboy movies are coterminous on both ends of the spectrum.

I'll go with your list, PKnight. Couldn't have done better. What's encouraging is that del Torro appears to be getting better! I hope so. But he's b68already one of the great living film makers.
