Maybe they could do a show where cop Dennis is chasing bad guy Frank

No way these two look alike. Dennis Farina has a way more gentle face expression. Vincent to me is the ultimate definition of a GUAPPO!!
Guappo(from the dialect of Naples, Italy):a noun meaning bad guy, "the man", and so on -

It just goes to show that a lot of us retain mannerisms and "style", as opposed to distinct facial features. Which is why sometimes people mistake you for friends they've known for years
I hadn't given it any thought, but realised they were two different people only yesterday -

After reading this thread I looked at my tape copy of Goodfellas, and I think Billy Bats looks more like Farina than Vincent. So I fast-forwarded to the credits to check - but there weren't any! I taped the film from TV, and they must have cut the credits to shorten it. So can someone check the credits on the official video/DVD release and settle this once and for all??

I knew of both Farina and Vincent, but I too thought Farina played the part of Billy Batts in Goodfellas.
Like someone else said, the mustache and the mannerisms were very similar to how Farina usually acts - or at least how I picture him acting. -

Yeah, I lost a 100 dollar bet because I said Dennis Farina was the "Go get your shinebox" guy. I will never, ever forget that.
(and RIP, Dennis Farina.)

it's Frank Vincent I believe. Phil Leotardo from The Sopranos.
Leotardo never had a mustache in the show, and looks EXACTLY like Farina with it. It was an honest mistake.
