I always knew Warden as the funny old guy from
    Problem Child
    and
    Dirty Work
. I just happened to watch
    12 Angry Men
and knew I'd recognized the face of #7. Then I saw the credits and just about leapt out of my seat.
Was he in any other great movies like that?

There's a lot though. Any suggestions?

I loved Warden ever since I saw him in the tv-show "Crazy Like a Fox" as a kid, and among the many movies I've seen him in I would highly recommend the following:

          • The Presidio (the movie isn't a masterpiece but Warden has an important role opposite Sean Connery)
          • The Verdict
          • Used Cars (brilliantly funny in two different characters)
          • The Champ
          • Death on the Nile
          • Heaven Can Wait (Oscar nominated)
          • All the President's Men (big supporting role in one of the fines political dramas ever made)
          • Shampoo (Oscar nominated)
          • From Here to Eternity (small but nice part in a classic)
          • Run Silent, Run Deep (cool submarine drama, where he is playing opposite none other than Clark Gable!)
And of course 12 Angry Men, but you already mentioned that 🙂
And this is just for starters!

Being There and 12 Angry Men are among the best movies I have seen!

Try Donavan's Reef. It also starred John Wayne and Lee Marvin amongst others. Good funny movie, if now starting to get a little dated.

Check him out in ESCAPE FROM ZAHRA16d0IN (1962), which was just released on DVD.

Don't forget 'And Justice For All' opposite Al Pacino from 1979. It is a magnificent film and Jack Warden plays the judge. It is a must see if you're a fan of his work.
That aside, I have to say 'The Verdict' (1982) is my personal favorite. I don't think Paul Newman ever delivered a better performance and Jack is just as powerful fighting at his side. An exceptional film by director Sidney Lumet the late great. All of them.
