I get it if you were in a public space with children around, but he was in an
adult
theater. It's like saying someone at a late night bar needs to watch their language. -

I agree.
I love Willard's work, let me say that up front. The guy can make funny from
nothing
, and he just gets better with age.
I personally find the whole "adult entertainment" industry skeevy, but given that this was an adult theater showing adult films it just seems completely unreasonable to arrest people for doing the expected.
If this were a
regular
theater, showing The Bourne Identity or something, yes that would be inappropriate behavior and an affront to other members of the audience.
But for this setup? Waste of time and money, and as close to a victimless crime as you can get. It's just stupid.

I completely agree! I love Fred Willard and I don't have a problem with him giving Little Fred some air, in an adult theater environment. It's not like he's a pervert going out in public & exposing himself.
For all the great comedy he's given us, throughout many years, he shouldn't even have to pay taxes - and he certainly should not have been arrested in an adult theater.
Doesn't change my opinion of him at all. He is fantastic! -

'I get it if you were in a public space with children around, but he was in an adult theater. It's like saying someone at a late night bar needs to watch their language.'
No, it doesn't mean that, children or no children. And yes, people at a "late night date bar" needs to wach thier language. Of course, if you don't any better, you are not going to be critical(unless it affects you) I hear young people using F words in the supermarket which other people have to hear. That is called lack of respect.
If the theatre has a policy of No lewd conduct, then you say lewd conduct is allowed? You're making excuses because he is a star whom you like.
The theatre staff does not want semen over their floors and seats;that is not the service the theatre is offering. THis needs to be explained to you?
It's not stupid to have morals and a sense of respect for owners of an establishment. Naturally, that doesn't apply these days. -

I can guarantee that almost ANYONE who operates an adult-cinema is quite prepared to tolerate semen on the floor and seats. if they go into that business without expecting it, they are almost impossibly naive. -
SimplemindedSociety — 13 years ago(November 22, 2012 04:27 PM)
How do you know. DO you go?
A cinema is NOT a private peepshow where you deposit 25cents to watch a film. Do you and others know the difference? Do you think a hetero man is going to tolerate a man jacking off in the seat next to him?
Are YOU naive? -

Do you think a hetero man is going to tolerate a man jacking off in the seat next to him?
According to you, there is no such thing as a heterosexual man.
As usual, you have applied those good ole double standards again, sadly. -

Simple Minded Society:
Here's a quote from the wikipedia article called "Adult movie theater"
"An adult movie theater shows heterosexual pornographic films and/or gay pornographic films. Even if it shows only heterosexual films it often attracts heterosexual, bisexual and homosexual male patrons, some of whom are there for casual and anonymous sex with other patrons.[1] The overwhelming majority of customers are male.
For the patrons, rules are generally less strict regarding partial- or full-nudity and public masturbation or sex, and such behavior may be condoned explicitly or otherwise by the management.[1] Such behavior may or may not be legal, and if not, may or may not be overlooked by local law enforcement.[1][2] Certain theaters may also include a strip- or sex-show between films, or other sex industry services."
Do you really think that this sounds like the kind of place where "hetero men" are going to be offended by someone jacking off?

'Do you really think that this sounds like the kind of place where "hetero men" are going to be offended by someone jacking off'
You are quoting from wikipedia? why not "quote" form your experiences in real life? How old are you?
I will ask you again: have you patronized adult movie theatres? And if you have patronized said theatres, what DO YOU SEE AND FIND? Shall we go and ask if their maid staff if they mop up semen from the floors and seats every night, and on the hour?
Now, if it was so common and expected, then people would not arrested for what is 'expected'. Make sense? And we are not counting the ones arrested that we don't know about because they are not famous. Shall we visit a jail and do a study?
I am not a prude and have lived in an urban environment all my life. Even the 25cent peepshows/bookstores now have the doors REMOVED to prevent public masturbation. Have you patronized a 25cent peepshow? If you do, read the posted signs that say "NO MASTURBATION, POLICE ENFORCED"
The bottom line: you feel sympathy for Fred Willard. -

i'm not sure if i am interrupting this fetish or not. it seems as if there is some baiting going on (not mastur).
i have not seen "maid staff" or "doors removed" or "police enforced" at any of these places. it seems very possible that there are two different references between the two of you. one, the american version of this establishment, and the other is not.
i can most definitely speak for the establishements "around here" and say that i have heard all sorts of things going on in the theater. i have also had what seemed to be different signals being shown to me which i didn't respond appropriately. i've also had 5b4someone try and push through that hole in the wall of course i had my foot propped up on the wall blocking viewing or probing.
Go away, or I shall taunt you a second time!

you guarantee,guarantee,guarantee?
Why, do you own a friggin adult theatre?
You still have not answered me: Do you patronize them?
And I like how you keep using the word "naive". It's not about being naive. I think quoting from Wiki is not only naive, but 'impossibly' idiot-like.
If owners do not mind, why are they calling the cops? Who is calling them then, the soda fountain cashier?
Bottom line; You feel sorry for ole Fred. -

Your level of ignorance on this subject is kind of entertaining, if you weren't so damn sure of yourself and angry at the same time. Please stop dictating to others what is correct when you have no idea.
Yes, they have staff that come in and clean up, exactly for the reason that there's jizz on everything. If you were a little more educated or at least well read this might become apparent to you.
Likewise, the police aren't called. They come normally whenever they are trying to make quotas. They are bad for business, so if the owner has a good relationship with them, they come less often, otherwise they come and make lots of trouble. They don't need to be called, that's what the vice squad does in any police force, prostitution, minor drug busts, peep shows and gay bars.
Whether the other poster patronizes movie theaters has nothing to do with the point he's making. If he has the information is all that's necessary for him to make a point. I've never been to one of those theaters, but I'm not above going if I thought it would work for me. It's not my thing (and I wouldn't even know where to find one) but it wouldn't make me a better or worse person either way.
I can read though, and there's a lot you can learn by reading on the subject. That goes for working in the sex-trade as well as vice.
Stop being so imperious when you obviously don't have a clue what you're talking about. -

What color are they? The panties you have in a bunch.
First of, what's the beep point of watching porn unless it's to be aroused and yes, masturbate? What if he had tissue paper and didn't make a mess on the floor or seat? Is it ok to fap then? Do you think people go to these places and watch porn for the superb acting, lighting, excellent direction and photography? I myself don't get why there is even a market for Adult Theaters anymore with the internet around but that's another question.
Secondly, if I'm anywhere except like at a playground with my nieces or nephews I talk however the beep I want. As long as I don't say anything that's directly offending to a specific person like a racial slur or something similar then I don't care especially if I sit in a bar drinking with my friends. If the owner think our language isn't appropriate then by all means he's free to ask us to leave but damn if I care what someone at the next table thinks. They shouldn't be listening in on what we are talking about anyway!
Problem today isn't lack of respect, it's that everyone gets so damn offended by trivial beep that's none of their business! -

yeah i mean you didn't go to the theater to watch person have sex. now if it was at a swinger's club then yes you are going to get people having sex in public but at a movie theater you didn't pay for this.

Jacking off in a porn theatre is unheard of and horrible! Everybody knows that the folks watching "Anal Teen Tranny Bearsluts 15" is only there to admire the movie (Clitty Cockenstein delivered an EXCELLENT performance in that one, btw. The way he presented himself during the fake "interview" really made me feel like I was in his shoes. I mean, it's haunting when you see just how far some people are willing to go to get a job. It's an interesting take on the rising unemployment rates. Is this where our country will end up? I shudder at the though. Kudos to you, Assfilmers Inc., for giving us such a profound piece of art.)
Cum on, people. Nobody jacks off to porn. -
Noufa — 12 years ago(February 26, 2014 12:29 PM)
All moral & health concerns aside, I'm amazed that adult theaters even exist in the age of the internet.
I wonder if this is a generational thing? Older guys are used to wanking in the theater. Theaters were the primary channel of porn distribution before VHS. So theater patrons return to the setting to relive that initial thrill.
It's not entirely crazy. I have heard that our first sexual climaxes make a powerful imprint on our mind. So much so that we seek to replicate them for the rest of our lives.
