John Witherspoon as FRED G. SANFORD
Brian Hooks (from 3 Strikes) as LAMONT (He'd look just like Lamont with an afro wig!)
Alternately, Chris Tucker could do LAMONT good if they'd pay him what he would want.
Mike Epps would be the perfect ROLLO
John Leguizamo is perfect as JULIO
Will Ferrell is perfect as OFFICER HOPPY
Bernie Mac would be a pretty good OFFICER SMITTY
Terrance Howard would make a good GRADY WILSON (Imagine him with a grey afro and beard, he already has eyes like Whitman Mayo, the original GRADY. Plus Terrance is funny.)
Bebe Drake would be the ultimate AUNT ESTHER
Dave Chappelle could do UNCLE WOODY pretty good
Anthony Anderson would be the perfect BUBBA
Faizon Love could be a good SKILLET
Jo Marie Payton-France could be a good DONNA (Fred's Love Interest)
Jackie Chan would be a funny AH-CHEW (Remember Pat Morita's character?)
Also the movie wouldn't be complete without allowing Demond Wilson, the original LAMONT to do some type of cameo role. Maybe a church scene as the pastor since he is now a minister in real life. Plus it would be a good scene because in the series, we never saw Aunt Esther's church, although she was very religious. The plot could be Esther finally convincing Fred to attend church.
I heard that they are in talks to do a Sanford &amb68p; Son movies with Bernie Mac as FRED and Nick Cannon as LAMONT, which by the way would be a big mistake.
