Im all for peoples right to have flaws and not being perfect, but theres more than regular "flaws" involved here.Camilla was obviously having an affair with Charles before and and bt the time he married Diana and they snuck behind her back for years. She probably suspected it but women in the upper-class environment are taught to accept that their husbands are having affairs and doing lots of other women.
Anyone whos cheating and sneaking behind other peoples backs with it should be ashamed. If you dont love someone, dont marry him/her.If youre unhappy in a marriage, get a divorce.
Its all better than being a rotten cheater.
But I suppose its the stupid traditions of the upper-classes that should be blamed. The fact that aristocratic men are allowed to cheat and their wives are supposed to be fine with it. -

ANS: I think it important people remember this tradition among the royal men. They could do anything they wanted and their wives had to shut up and smile. Diana refused to do that. She was "mad as hell and she wasn't going to take it anym1c84ore." -

Nitedrive, since you are so familiar with Charles and Diana's private life, including the details on when he cheated on her, why don't you mention Diana's extramarital activities, to balance the account?
After all, Charles "only" cheated on her with one woman, and one woman only - the woman he loved, the woman he still loves today.
Diana, on the other hand, had affairs with at least FIVE men during their marriage.
Why don't you call her a "rotten cheater"?
BTW, I am not writing this in the spirit of hostility towards you.
I would just like to see fair consideration of all the factors involved. -

REF: After all, Charles "only" cheated on her with one woman, and one woman only
ANS: "Only one" makes it alright? If Diana had cheated with "only one" man, would you say it was alright?
REF: the woman he loved, the woman he still loves today.
ANS: If he loved Camilla, perhaps that's why Prince Charles lied about his wedding vows to Diana.
"Charles Philip Arthur George. Wilt thou have this woman to thy wedded wife, to live together after Gods ordinance in the holiest state of matrimony? Wilt thou love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health, and FORSAKING ALL OTHER KEEP THEE ONLY UNTO HER, so long as ye both shall live?"
"I will."
REF: Diana, on the other hand, had affairs with at least FIVE men during their marriage.
ANS: In my reading, the number is more like nine male friends. Some of the relationships were physical, some were not, but if Prince Charles had honored his wedding vows, would Diana have been with any of them? Diana didn't want lovers, she wanted a faithful husband. Was that asking too much?
I asked you this question some time ago and never got an answer, so I'll ask it again.
Which is worse, a wife taking a lover or a husband putting his wife in a position where she has to take a lover? -

Great post and I agree. Diana may have slept with someone outside her marriage to Charles but it was well after the fact that he screwed the horse face Camilla. Odds are it is as you say and they were just close male friends of hers. Even if she did commit adultery, he set the chain of events in motion that led to the unhappy union amongst them. Why anyone would go from class and elegance to a horse faced, vindictive, shrew baffles me. This is the guy next in line to the throne?! Scary!
Diana was the best person to happen to the royal family and suffered as a result of millions wanting more from her. Nevertheless, she still went out and advocated for the causes she believed in as well as remain a loving mother to her two boys. My belief is, had it not been for her children, she would have ditched the other horse face, as in her "husband", years ago.
I also find it sad that it took her death for the Queen to finally acknowledge what an influence she had on the British communityeverywhere you went in Britain, they loved Diana but Queen Lizzy bashed her relentlessly and showed people what a spiteful woman she truly was (and still is. Does that twit ever SMILE?!).
I'm not a gynecologist but I will take a look. -

Please I'll hate and bash Camilla all I want. She deserves all the bashing she gets plus some. To think that anyone would respect this woman as their queen is mind boggling after all the vile
documented
BS shes done.
