Hey guys. well lemme get to the point, I used to be a big Missy Elliot fan. but I've been getting really annoyed lately. is it me, or does all she ever talk about is her body? (conceited?) I mean the last 2000few songs, that's all I've been hearing. she talks about her "nice butt" and theighs and all that junk. well, I dont wanna start an arguement, but those who agree with me, please reply.

Robert De Niro wants to produce a movie about her life? How interesting can her life possibly be? Was her weight loss really that traumatic? If you wanna lose weight, just stop eating twinkies 24/7 and work out. It's not that hard. Besides, when you've got her money, you can hire personal trainers to whip yourself into shape. Her music's all right but she ain't all that.

Have you done your research? Are you sure about that? I don't mean to sound insensitive if it is indeed true, but a lot of these celebs claim to have these horrible pasts, like Jewel and Vanilla Ice, when in fact it's bloated fiction to help sell more records and t-shirts. Still, even if in fact she did grow up in a violent household (keep in mind that this isn't that shocking for America, unfortunately) I still don't see why it warrants a biopic. I could understand if her life (mind you she's all of 34) was filled with dramatic ups and downs like Malcolm X, Richard Pryor or Ray Charles. Somehow I doubt that someone whose imdb bio includes..

blackvideodrone, are you really that daft? ive been tryin for 5 years to lose weight, ive been working out and eating right, hey guess what sometimes its genetic its not always as easy as you think. you know what cudos to her for being PROUD of her body and not letting society tell her what it hott and what is not. we as a society need less "twig girls" and more "real girls" -

When Missy burst on the scene as a rapper she was pretty chunky and heavy then she lost weight and started singin more sexy. That's natural if you're a woman used to being overweight for most of your life. My girlfriend's sister went through the same thing. Now that she's slim, she's become really vain but it's a fact of life. My problem with Missy is that when she lost the weight, she acted like she was never fat and started insulting fat people in at least one song. Then she tried to cover it up by saying she was trying to empower them to lose weight. The only thing she lost was my respect but I still think she's a great talent. Just not a good role model.

i agree.. she said her doctor told her that if she didn't lose weight then she would die.. so with her losing all that weight she's proud and she wants to rap about it.. and i also t238hink that she doesn't want younger kids to think that waif skinny is hot.. she wants to put it out there that you can have meat and be sexy!!!

I'm pretty sure her song "I'm really hot" isn't about her body, but more about the fact that all her singles at the time got popular fast and recieved alot of airplay; furthermore, the talk of her body always seemed more to be about pride in being a woman and having curves, the Halle Berry talk is probably tongue in cheek anyhow.

she's actually very beautiful. Along with a great body and so cool. she sings, raps, dances, all her videos are out there and entertaining. She is one of the most UNDERRATED rapperes in the game and probably the most UNDERRATED female MC in the game. Much love to ya Missy and God Bless!
