I didn;t defend Marios actions but even if he only shot Proof once and kib68lled him people would still say that his killer should rot in hell. Maybe Mario felt his life was in danger. All im saying is that he is not innocent.

"LIKE YOU READ?" it amazes me how a person can read something and automatically believe it without doing further research. How do you know he was gonna shoot again? for you2000r information, bullet casings were found outside of the club, meaning that proof was shot OUTSIDE not INSIDE the club. meaning he shot keith only once in the club and as he walked outside to leave, that's when mario came after him. which explains why he was shot in the back and the back of the head. So who's the ignorant one?
and how was he protecting his cousin? if anything, his big ass should have tried to break up the fight. was'nt he a bouncer? where was he or anyone when all this was going on?
and if mario shot proof only once then people would believe the whole self defense crap. people who shoot in self defense don't usually pull the trigger multiple times.
and if proof still died after one shot, YES people will still be upset, but at the same time mario's story would have more credit.
and about the whole cousin question, NO I will not kill someone for killing my cousin. To be quite honest I will be too scared to pull the trigger because of the religious person I am. and plus, It's not worth all the mess mario is going through. Being all over the news, getting death threats, not being able to leave the house without high security, and having reporters all up in his face. How embarrassing is that? I would'nt risk being put away for a long time. -

That's the same thing i was thinking. Imagine how both families would feel if they read this board. Why don't we just pay our respects to both parties and admit everyone involved was wrong? This way we can all get on with our lives instead of going back and forth.

if mario shot proof to calm him down, then shooting him once would have been enough. After 2 shots the victim goes down. (Take it from someone who watched their boyfriend get murdered). shooting a person 3 or 4 times is murder. HE WANTED HIM DEAD. Mario never said proof was attacking him. This was not self defense. Any moron can see that
I have an even better idea: why not just shoot Proof's gun? That way you can disarm him w/o even hurting him! In fact, Mario should've shot Proof's gun before Proof shot his cousin this way he could've saved both men! (sarcasm intended)
When you are in a crowded club, and a drunk guy has already shot your cousin, you'll probably be PANICKING to take him down with ANY way possible. He doesn't have time to think: "if I shoot Proof in the leg and the arm, it'll knock him down but not kill him. But I can only shoot 2 times or else he'll bleed to death. Or, I could shoot him in the thigh once..wait, maybe twice. Nevermind, I'll shoot him once in the leg, then go up to him to see if he's really down; if not, then I'll shoot him again in the arm, then check again to see if he's really down." A drunk guy with a gun will probably shoot anything (since he's drunk, obviously). Yet you are suggesting to shoot him aimed so precisely that he is down, unconscious, can't shoot no more, but still isn't dead? Meanwhile any second now the drunk Proof might fire his second shot, and you are still there taking your time thinking.
Another thing: under such panic, Mario probably didn't have any time to just shoot Proof once, and see if he's really down. What if the first shot missed and Proof turned around to shoot Mario? Oh right, Mario should've known that Proof was drunk and calculated that there was no way Proof would be able to turn around fast enough and aim to shoot him. Wowbig expectations. Again, he was probably PANICKING and jus5b4t shot a few times hoping that Proof would be down. -

I understand what your saying. but the thing is, proof was'nt shot inside the club. When the police taped the scene, they marked blood drops and bullet casings in a parking lot across the street. Meaning that 2 shootings occured. one INSIDE the club and one OUTSIDE the club. This proves that mario came after proof as he was leaving, which is why he was shot in the back and the back of the head.
