a 'nose job' away from being an 'it girl'

There's nothing wrong with not having a nose job, but it's surprising that a successful and otherwise attractive woman in such an image-obsessed industry would not have that nose reduced (assuming she hadn't already had it reduced as much as possible)
Considering that her nose looks fine straight-on she would still look like Tara Summers if the profile was corrected. (Did changing her hair color suddenly make her not look like Tara Summers?) He nose is so large that I would almost consider it a disfigurement. It was actually distracting on Ringer because a serious scene would be playing out but if a profile shot of Summers was shown that was all I could pay attention to.
I was on the Ringer board and came here. She hasn't been on that show in months but the size of her nose was so memorable that it actually caused me to come over here in curiosity to see if anyone had mentioned it.

But that is the point. Her face is not disfigured by her nose or unattractive at all. If you're distracted by it, then that's interesting, but I'm sure that the majority of people watching don't even think twice about it.
I haven't watched Boston Legal in a year or so but I guarantee the size of her nose was not memorable to me. I don't see what the big deal is. I think only people who have had plastic surgery, or who often think about plastic surgery, would stop to think "wow, that's a face flaw." That's not a dig at others on this board, just a statement. -

I, for one, like it. It give her character.
The last thing she needs is to become a boring run-of-the-mill vanilla bleached blonde.
If there's one thing we don't need, it's to encourage more women to have plastic surgery.
I applaud her for keeping the nose. Why she messes with the hair, I don't know, but at least her nose is natural.

Put me in the "it gives her character and makes her stand out from the cookie cutter cuties" crowd.
Maybe it's just me,but the females I meet that have an "other than ideal" feature tend to be more interesting and less selfish than the out and out beauty queens.
And it really says something about the level of self-confidence of an actress who resists the temptation to go for the artificial. This woman actually likes herself, and people who like themselves are people who are fun to be around.
