what are you on about??! 14 isnt youung?? "its their risk if they wanna take it"- sounds like great parenting. i would've thought seeing as you lost yours at 13, you might understand but clearly not. -

i do understand. i understand that they're gonna wanna do it, and if they really want to, theyre going to weather we give them permission or not.
id personally rather know that my child is having sex at 14 and know he/she has the proper birth control/protection , then have them lie to me about being a virgin. who's to judge what age is too young, honestly?

well, I agree with that up to a point. I'd like to think you would tell your 11 year old to wait until she was emotionally ready. 11 is probably not the right age. Regardless, I know someone who has stated that they will not have sex until they are married so they can give that person their special gift. That's fine, but he lectures everyone that will listen that you have to wait. I don't agree with people who force their values on others. It's wrong. Who cares at what age someone else has sex. What happened to personal choice. Furthermore, I really hate it when people bring up all the risks you are taking having sex at an early age. If you take precautions there is literally no risk.

14 is very young and kids which they are dont know what their getting into. even if their safe i was very safe and i was 18 with my bf. and i got preg. i dont regret a thing but i always say to younger ones if you think your ready to have sex then be ready to have a baby to because it happens and has happened to alot nothing is 100% pregnancy proof unless you get your tubes tied which im sure they wont or you get the implant. alot of these younger kids think that its okay to have a kid when you are a kid but to be honest their child will grow up hating them if all they do is dump it on their parents.

It isn't about the fact that she lost her virginity at 14, even though that IS too young. If people are having sex under the age of 16, then they're too young but obviously kids will do as they please and you can't stop them. What really bugs me though is people saying, "oh I know plenty of 13 and 14 year olds having sex." Yeah, that's something to brag about. Having sex does not make you more mature but I guess some people just don't get that. Whatever.

For the OP why do you think anyone gives a flying F*? That's pretty average, always has been. Is there some reason you think it's especially strange? What exactly is your point?
And trust me, you obviously care if we believe you, or you wouldn't be whining "I don't care" two times in five sentences.
You sound like a complete idiot just because you're 25 and haven't lost your virginity yet, don't assume the rest of the world is the same.
