Per Hannity & Colmes (11/08), Monique is suing for slander. Yeah, she was grinning ear to ear & didn't look to offended or upset during her interview. Someone had stated that while the recording was months ago, the interview was possibly more recent & basically she was somewhat emotionally over it/didn't want to give anyone the satisfaction of seeing her emotional. These were not the exact words but the same meaning. Where is she gonna get the money for a lawyer & lawsuit??? More interviews, backdoor recordings, etc..???

Only a seedy lawyer would take this case pro bono. PB cases are always done for those who are poor or for some other special needs.
Monique doesn't really have a solid claim, nice try honey, but um no.

the thing is he didnt go and say this stuff to the public, he was talking to his son (it doesnt make it right 16d0to say what he did say), but he thought it was a private discussion. His son recorded it and then released it, and lets face it, some parents just dont like their childs choice in a partner, and sometimes they will say anything to make their kid see why that person is a bad choice. So unless every person out there is gonna sue the parent of their partner this has no standing, it wasnt done to hurt her, or even said so that she could hear. He has apologized at length, his show has gone off the air, HIS reputation has been ruined, and most likely his relationship with his son is even more strained. He has been punished, the lawsuit is a way for that girl to get more time, yes she was wronged, and it is HORRIBLE what he said, and i am not condoning it at all, but he has been punished, and it seems like he is being punished worse than people who go on stage and say the same thing if not worse. dog realizes he made a mistake, and he will have to live with that mistake for the rest of his life, this called attention to a problem he may have, but the lawsuit most likely wont work.

but see you cant say that, we dont know with any certainty what has transpired, and honestly Michael Richards seemed to get a slap on the wrist, his show wasnt taken off the air, dogs was (even reruns) It is sad what he did, but we dont know maybe he tried to apologize to both of them.. In the end it is a family matter, and they will need to take care of it as a family, we wont be privvy to what he says or any of that. and what should we do to dog according to you? How would you punish him, and if you punish him then everyone who says stuff like that even in the privacy of their own home would need the same punishment. Dog didnt do anything to HURT the girl, he was talking to HIS SON. And what makes you think he has no conscience? When will the punishment be enough? NOt only is he being put in the spot light and having people hate him and call for things to happen, but also his family is going through a living nightmare. He was wrong, he apologized, what more does he have to do?

What I'm curious about is why the son hasn't been brought up on charges. According to the Hawaii wiretapping laws unless it is under court order both parties have to be aware of the conversation being taped. If you want to review that please do under Hawaii.gov and search wiretap.

And there's this man in prison for raping a young girl and now people keep calling him a scum-sucking dirty rapist. I think his civil rights are violated.

Man, if you can use that excuse because someone calls you a name, next time someone says something to me that hurts me feelings I'm gonna sue big time. Every single person.

This entire affair is just more evidence of how remarkably dysfunctial this family is. Chapman (aka DOG) pays a lot of lip service to be a Christian and a responsible parent but he has a slew of kids with several women, some of whom have serious problems with the law and with susbtance abuse, heda0's verbally abusive to everyone around him on his own show but it's OK cuz he calls them all "Bra" at te end of the day, he picks and chooses what laws he wants to break and which ones he'll abide by and we're all supposed to call him a hero?
Who here is suprised that he called his son's girlfriend by one of the most hateful names in the English language? Raise your hand. On his show, he uses nasty names for native hawaiians and for latinos but that's OK with with A&E for some reason. And then there's his darling wife and her foul mouth.
Look folks - this is a family fued being played out in public in the media because this family doesn't know how to communicate in any other way. They are media whores and they live for this kind of thing. Even if A&E drops his show permanently, he'll be back with a book and doing the Talk show circuit in a year or so and then he'll become a paid commentator on Court TV or somesuch. His wife will maybe lose some weight and become jenny Craig's next well-paid spokeswomen or maybe she'll take Star Jone's old job hawking Payless shoes or a line of clothing for Lane Bryant.
They aren't gonna starve, trust me. They do have a business ya know - a lucrative one - BAIL BONDS. (oh yea.that's what made them famous in the first place sort of, kind of..) Issuing Bail Bonds is one of those businesses that is recession-proof and where there are always people lining up at your door asking to biz with you. Beth gets all dramatic when someone runs and claims that the person is trying to take food out of her kids mouths but in reality Bondsmen don't write large bonds for people out of the charity of their hearts. Those bonds are secured, usually with the title to the parents house, car, boat, whatever. If a criminal ain't got a mamma with collateral and they need a large bond, they usually sit in jail. So when you see these people that "Dog" and Beth go after on the show, it really is mostly for show. They could just as easily wait it out and seize the property, force a sale and take their cut plus costs and interest.
As for Tucker the son and his new media-lovng girlfriend - don't be too hard on them. Consider how he was raised. it's all he knows. Somebody does dirty on ya, you find a microphone and make a big loud and ppublic deal out it - that's how daddy does it. Getting married? Well then, get everybody to give you all the stuff for free in exchange for placement on the show and if your sister dies 2 days beforehand - well hell, don't cancel, go on with the show and make sure the cameraman gets some prime footage of you weeping and praying - that'll look great in the final cut!
[bold]Edit -[/bold] yes I was being sarcastic or perhaps even sardonic when i said don't feel too bad for Tucker. Still, you have to admit if had been raised better, he might not have resorted to the same kind of media-grandstanding that his dad is so good at when faced with a conflict. he's just giving Ole dad back some of Dad's best tricks. they all deserve eachother.
