On mainstream radio Taylor is more popular, on country radio Carrie is. Anyway, who cares who is more famous and popular? Both are talented and both have a lot of fans. It doesn't matter who has more.

Carrie has beat Taylor for a few awards though. And I know Taylor's album sold more and she has more fans. I'm not denying that. I just don't see how that is relevant. Justin Bieber has more fans than both Swift and Underwood, but does that make him more talented? I don't think so

I just don't see how that is relevant. Justin Bieber has more fans than both Swift and Underwood, but does that make him more talented? I don't think so
Does he write any of his own material? Underwood really doesn't. Taylor does. I give that a great deal or respect.
Also, Taylor doesn't need a swag coach so she gets mad respect there too!

At least Carrie Underwood and her team write about more subjects than just guy problems. Taylor seems to go from guy to guy too while Carrie hasn't been with that many over the years and has been happily married for some time.

Carrie co-writes most of her songs! Some hearts she co wrote one song. Carnival Ride she co-wrote 5. Play On she wrote 8/13 and Blown Away she wrote 8/14. On her greatest hits album she co wrote 2 song (the only new ones). So stop! Carries vocals and music beat Taylor's anyday. She actually sings about things that matter!

So Taylor gets more respect than Patsy Cline? Patsy Cline did not write her songs either. Taylor writing does not take talent unless your good at it. She isn't. Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley, Ashley Monroe is much better writers. That's just a few. I though you said you were not a fan of Taylor.

Willie Nelson wrote Patsy's biggest hit. It doesn't get any more prestigious than that!
As for Taylor, she is a nice kid who donates generously to those in need. I do not see Underwood doing that. I am a fan of the person Taylor is, her music is meh. But I do love how she pisses off all of you Underwood fans!

I am not a big "pop" music fan but I can respect what she (or rather, he management) has done. Heck, how many pop stars have remained relevant for over a decade? Not many!
