      Pennywise is supposed to be a thing of nightmares. I just can't see Poulter being able to embody that sinister quality. He's too goofy looking.

              See the original film, then. If you're remaking a film, there is zero point in making it exactly the same as it was before.

                  Yes, but it's ANOTHER adaptation of the book. So why make it exactly the same when there's another perfectly good adaptation out there.

                    I disagree that the 1990 made for television film was a "perfectly good adaptation". I saw it a few weeks ago and I thought it was really cheesy. The always good and versatile Tim Curry was terrific, though.

                      i happened to really like the 90s miniserieswell aside from finding out that the damn thing was really a giant neon SPIDER.
                      i'm willing to give this one a chance. hoping they don't have the spider.
