She does kind of grate on my nerves, I found myself fast forwarding scenes with her doing most of the talking.
I also don't like the way her forehead gets all pitted looking when she's distressed. -

I couldn't disagree with you more. I think Tracy Spiridakos is one to watch.
I think she's done some pretty amazing work, so far. There's a couple of scenes where I was literally choked up and moved by her performance. I think there's a lot more great work to come. I often wonder what possesses someone to go out of their way to write something nasty about someone on a public forum. I gotta be honest, it's really hard to take your post seriously, when you've billed her as "worst actress I've seen In years".. To not like an actress is one thing, but to make such a statement, well, again, it's hard to take you seriously. -

Bashing Revolution, Tracy, and her character, Charlie seems to be one of the favorite sports of the self-styled hipster "critics" who haunt these boards. Somehow, this mindless bashing seems to be filling a need they share. It provides a sort of bond. A brotherhood of bitter bashers, if you will.
Here's a kind word of advice for everyone, who fits that description: "Get a life!". -

Could not agree more. She is the sole propose I have stopped watching this series. I had to verify my IMDB account just to say how annoying her character (in the series :)) is and how terrible her acting is. She have the same expressions regardless the scene. And the close up of her in emotional scenes is like stabbing a needle in my eye. She is good looking, but that's it.

i totally agree ! i like the show and the other actors are doing well, but this actress is ruining the show for me . the actress can portray vulnerable but that is it . Everything else is painful to watch . I wish they would recast her role. her role is central to the story, so killing her off would not work . the show has potential, too bad she does not

I think she's doing what she can with weak material. Her character is not the best to work with to begin with. She is very attractive but you can find literally 1,000 girls that look like her at any casting call. Someone picked her. Now it's up to her to make the most of her opportunity. It's a tall order.
It's really too soon to say whether she's good or not. It's important to remember that TV is produced on an assembly line and there's just not time for multiple takes and lots of directing.
I'm watching "Revolution" as I write this and the others on here are right. She does resemble Heather Graham especially when her hair is down.
As for "Revolution", it's just not a very good show. I really don't like the writing. It's written on at best a 12-grade reading level. Overall it's another version of "Jericho" just without the same original cause.
They're pulling it from the lineup until "The Voice" comes back. NBC says they want "The Voice" in front of it. I suspect that's NBC giving them time to "retool" the show because they see good enough numbers that they don't want to can it. That and there's also the little issue of nothing good enough to be a news lead-in in its place. -

Absolutely! She is ruining the show. I am nearly done watching the series because of her weak, weak acting abilities. Please have her leave the show somehow or give her acting lessons! I can't take this much longer.

This girl is one of the reasons this show was a big disappointment for me. It could have been so much better, but it is dumbed down to a point I can hardly stand. She has to have a "why me" moment or "oh my garsh that's bad don't do it!". And she makes over the top expressions. You just want to slap her face sometimes, lol.
It's bad writing, and a bad actress combined. Worse than Kristen Stewart, and that's saying something.
As far as Revolution goes, I'm only watching this because I'm invested and there's hardly any good new shows this season. Last resort is probably the best one, and it's going to get cancelled. -

Revolution is one of the best new shows on tv and that is why NBC has continued it for a full season. I think the cast and storyline are excellent. Tracy Spiridakos has done an outstanding job of developing Charlie into one of the best new characters on tv. It seems that a lot of people are just trying to spew their hate and negativity on a really good show instead of just appreciating the ride.
