Charlize Theron is technically an African American. Blows one's mind.

corvuscolumba:
There are plenty of people of African descent in England. Watch any British soap and you'll see its true.
They have the best accent ever. _
Yes, but they are hardly African-
American
are they? A black person from England would be African-English, wouldn s/he? -

Parvati is tanned.. The patil sisters had an indian heritage i think.
Lavendar to me was always stick thin, a really prissy type.
And her hair was never suppose to look like Hermiones in the earlier movies.. what the hell happened lol -

Um you mean "Black British" although African-British would also be technically correct (if not the common term). In the earlier movies they had a Black British playing her (or what we thought was her) in a non-speaking cameo. I'm not sure why she became Anglo-British later on but I don't remember the book being that specific.

I thought she was white because there's a part in the 6th book where Harry sees Ron and Lavender kissing and it says that they're so intertwined that it's difficult to tell whose hands were whose which implies their hands were the same colour.

Lol, I always pictured her quite pale with brown hair, almost like Bella off Twilight, but I guess her name inspired the hair colour. In the very first movie wasn't Lavender black? That's probably what inspired it lol.
But why should you wish to persuade me that I feel more than I acknowledge?
