Hi - if you have some good definitive (especially genre specific) cult films lists that you would like us to add to the rotating "seen" list in the boards header, let us know!
eager to hear what you think of the new "seen" feature. If it's cult film specific you can reply on this thread, if it's about the "seen" feature as a whole, it would be best to reply here:

I like the Danny Peary lists. He is an interesting film critic who doesn't take himself too seriously and thinks for himself.
Interestingly, I have seen almost exactly half from each of his three lists.
Cult movies, vol. 1, 51/100 movies seen
vol. 2, 24/50
vol. 3, 24/50

This is a narrow list with some odd inclusions. For example: I love Scarface, and like The Princes Bride, but never really thought of them as cult films. Sure, they're quirky and unique, but they were predominantly critically well received, and commercially successful. They are pretty mainstream titles. This list seems less likely to be for cult film fans, but rather to let the mainstream joe think he's being "fringe". There is not a cult following for a film if it is liked by the majority of general audiences. . . just saying.
