      Das Boot and Road Warrior are 1981 movies, not 1982. Das Boot came out in Europe in 1981 and Road Warrior came out in Australia and Japan and a couple of other European countries in December 1981 before both came to the US in 1982.
      Even both copyrighted 1981.

        perhaps poster is like myself I attach films to their US release date.. after all, that's when I first have access to them.

          Come on..that argument is nonsense. A film has one release year..not two..being the first time it plays to a paying audience;
          If everyone is on the same page..then these stubborn quibbles will cease.

            now why would I attach a film to a year where I couldn't even view it for ratings and comparison purposes it makes no sense to me.. that's just me I guess
