Disney should be the one to produce a remake of "The Wizard of Oz."

…I don’t want a remake
I still have my 60th Anniversary DVD. I'd break it out and watch it again before I'd see a remake made today.

I NEVER know what to make out of ANY of your posts.
If it were not for Judy Garland's transcendent vulnerability and innocence, nobody would be talking about this film.
"The Wizard of Oz" IS Judy Garland. Perhaps no other film owes their identity to a single element as "The Wizard of Oz" does to Judy Garland.
This is a big statement, but imo, TWOZ is probably the most recognizable film in the history of cinema.

Exactly so!

Christina doesn't comprehend context, she is so in the moment of what is going on in her wild mind at the time she has a thought, it just comes out as it does without deliberation or discernment.
I'd say she is just asking for a remake that is relatable to her as she perceives it now and she loves musicals.

Thanks for explaining that to me. I'll be more mindful.
Well, if Christina wants up to date and relatable, I'd say no girl needs the Wizard of Oz and all its accessories more than this poor, lost soul.
Plus you'd get the PC crowd for back up….

Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
