Indeed Ghost kid, that is from a well remembered episode called "Love Hungry" about a former high schooler who works in telemarketing who has an odd relationship with food and being overweight. It's a favourite of 'Tales from the Darkside' fans
It's a sort of rip off of the UK story "The Sound Machine" from 'Tales of the Unexpected' from about 8 years prior (Republished from an earlier novelette of Roald Dahl's from just after the war) -

Anyways, I digress (but nevertheless progress, hahah) who has an odd relationship with food and being overweight. When I say "odd" I don't mean a sexual relationshiip. That would be "queer", not "odd", yes??????
