Didn't the demon become attached to the person that had sex with the previous demon victim?
I was speaking metaphorically when i called the demon an std, - because it was transmitted from one person to another because of the sex act.
After carefree teenager Jay (Maika Monroe) sleeps with her new boyfriend, Hugh (Jake Weary), for the first time, she learns that she is the latest recipient of a fatal curse that is passed from victim to victim via sexual intercourse. Death, Jay learns, will creep inexorably toward her as either a friend or a stranger. Jay's friends don't believe her seemingly paranoid ravings, until they too begin to see the phantom assassins and band together to help her flee or defend herself.

No that isn't what happened. You should re-watch the film to refresh your memory. It's alright to do that every so often with movies and tv series. On the imdb horror board, someone started that ridiculous theory and people jumped on the bandwagon.
It's a movie about a revenge demon that attaches itself to a victim.
I really don't feel like discussing the plot any further. The time to have discussed the plot and the story or whatever else about the film with me, should have been done when I posted this topic months ago. You were here months ago. Why didn't you discuss this topic with me then? Why are you waiting until now with Lilith, to discuss whatever ideas about the film you have?

It's okay. I don't really feel like providing a more accurate analysis of It Follows for you. If you wanna believe that whatever was following those teens in the movie represents a sexually transmitted disease, that's on you and Lilith.

I don't believe that at all. However, the demon WAS passed on through sex.

That was so random and irrelevant. How anyone makes a correlation like that from the movie is really crazy though.

The first half of that movie was an insanely good horror film
Then it went retarded as **** and lost any semblance of quality.

She lives around the Wasington square patk area. I think the same building as John Malkowich. Anyway last Summer I passed her on the Street. She is so Beautiful.
I ****ed up. I was staring at her face but because she was wearing leggings my gaze went downwards to look at her glorious camel toe.
When I did that, it was like a Nuke went off downtown. She looked at me with so much disgust and contempt I almost made a citizens arrest of myself.
Terrible shame I felt the rest of the night.

I liked this film very much because of its subtext. Other similar horror films I liked for the same reason are Honeymoon and The Babadook.
