Only one looks slightly familiar. But, nevermind.
In my book: it is

Then, some of my other faves are:
~ Duane Jones
('The Night of the Living Dead')
~ James Edwards
('The Killing', 'The Manchurian Candidate')
~ Dooley Wilson
'Casablanca'
~ Louis Gossett Jr.
~ Yaphet Kotto
~ Harry Belafonte
~ Paul Robeson Jr.
~ Cleavon Little
~ Richard Pryor
~ Jim Brown
('The Dirty Dozen')
~ Woody Strode
~ Leigh Whipper
('The Ox-Box Incident')
~ Nat King Cole
~ Cab Calloway
~ Hari Rhodes
('Shock Corridor')
~ Earl Cameron
('Guns at Batasi')
~ Breno Mello
('Black Orpheus')
~ Sammy Davis Jr.
~ Bill Bojangles
~ Ossie Davis
~ Moses Gunn
Special love for:
~ The Nicholas Brothers
(arguably the best dancing team in history)
hon. mention to some of these others …
~ Scatman Crothers
~ James Earl Jones
~ Billy Dee Williams
~ Ivan Dixon
~ Bill Cosby
~ John Amos
~ Geoffrey Holder
~ Paul Winfield
~ James McEachin

Probably forgettin' a few – especially without even mentioning actresses, and without going back even further to the '20s & '30s …

"some of the biggest actors in the last …"
That makes them just "celebs", not actors of any true, proven, established talent.
We're drowning in phony, faux, fraudulent celebs. We're in the world predicted by Andy Warhol.

Advanced degrees from one of the best schools in the country.
What's puzzling you here is that I just don't waste my time with sub-par, garbage-y popculture.
It's a matter of maintaining high standards and refusing to settle for what is bourgeoise.
I only give my attention to what is proven to be excellent. Nothing but the best.
Whereas you and your pals will watch any movie that is generating 'buzz'. You are pawns of the media, led around by the nose by advertisers and spin-doctors.
Manipulated by the money-men and the hype-mongers.

Hallo –if your reply is to me –then, I appreciate your input on this.
I acknowledged in my post that there may be a few names I might be overlooking.
In this specific case, no. He's not a name I would include in my personal rankings.
See, I didn't just round up every famous name I could think of, I gathered together only those actors who's work I've admired.
Never seen Cheadle in anything notable, which I recall enjoying. He seems to be just another black celeb from this schlock, modern-day Biedermeier-Period we're trapped in.
