Omg I saw them play that live at Sweden Rock some years ago. Got to meet Thijs…who whipped out his flute to play me a quick ditty. I ****ing squealed.
I just knew when I saw the thumbnail which song you were posting.
God that yodel rocks. -

Speaking if surprising songs. There's a track on side B of Tubular Bells that blends into another track that's just really funny. In the first, the bass drum is struggling to pound in tune, more and more noticeably so, and then it breaks into this happy sounding tune with vocals that sound like a ranting Klingon.

Ooh, I haven't actually listened to that album. I just know a portion of it was used in The Exorcist.
But I know where I can get a vinyl copy and will pick it up this weekend
Have you ever listened to Judee Sill? There's a track called "The Donor" at the end of her second album that's such a MAJOR departure from everything else she did and it's ****ing brilliant! And she never recorded anything else again
Another one that's similarly weird is "The Crucifixion" by Phil Ochs… It begins relatively straightforward, but you'll see what I mean

Nope, haven't heard that before.
Do pick up Tubular Bells. It's awesome. You'll see exactly what I mean somewhere in the middle of side B.
You will laugh out loud. Although, I just spoiled it but still. You still won't be quite ready.
