Ooh, I haven't actually listened to that album. I just know a portion of it was used in The Exorcist.
But I know where I can get a vinyl copy and will pick it up this weekend
Have you ever listened to Judee Sill? There's a track called "The Donor" at the end of her second album that's such a MAJOR departure from everything else she did and it's ****ing brilliant! And she never recorded anything else again
Another one that's similarly weird is "The Crucifixion" by Phil Ochs… It begins relatively straightforward, but you'll see what I mean

Do pick up Tubular Bells. It's awesome. You'll see exactly what I mean somewhere in the middle of side B. You will laugh out loud. Although, I just spoiled it but still. You still won't be quite ready. -
