Doug
Gilmour?
Btw, Roger Waters was a founding member. Syd was only there for the first album, and I don't think it even comes close to the Roger-led Pink Floyd of the 70s.

Gilmour was brought in as a second guitarist, so if Syd wanted to stand there and stare, at least someone would fill it up. They even thought of The Beach Boys' Brian Wilson situation, where Syd could work in the studio, and one night to a show, one member said "Shall we pick up Syd?" and someone else said "Why bother?" - but it has never been revealed who said what.

They used to be a Blues band. Peter Green left the group following heavy drug use and a history of psychosis. He left the band having wasted away all his earnings. Mick Fleetwood and John McVie were the original members.
The first thing John would do is ask his then-wife to join on keyboards, Christine McVie. I hear she ended up being pretty good. -

I prefer Peter, Danny, even a few Bob Welch songs. I like "Rumours" but only a few songs after.
