I don't like nasally, whiney, high-pitched noise, (so that explains a few of my choices).
What songs in particular do you think I'm being too harsh about?

I hated Journey until I saw "Monster" and their "Don't Stop Believing" is stupendous. It actually brought tears to my eyes.

β 6 years ago(August 08, 2019 06:50 PM)I agree with some of your list but How do you have Queen, Pearl Jam and Pink Floyd on there?
What wrong with RATM?

I grew up in the beach cities near LA. Every dumbfuck stoner reveres Pink Floyd. Some of there stuff is nice but they're way overrated.
Most people don't realize that Queen is a gay camp act. I appreciate camp in limited doses. But when I listen to rock I want rock, not trilling and faux opera. Sorry, it's not a coincidence that Mercury ended up being a fag.
Pearl Jam took grunge and turned it mainstream. I don't respect them.
RATM is cacophonous noise without any structure to their songs. If they made one nice hard raging rock song with a melody I've never heard it.
